Nashville’s “The Catbird Seat” made it at #5 for GQ’s “The Ten Best New Restaurant’s In America”

GQ SHINES A LOVE LIGHT ON NASHVILLE CHEFS

The chef duo behind Nashville’s latest run-to-make-a-reservation eatery, The Catbird Seat are talking up their love of Music City in the new issue of GQ Magazine. Josh Habiger and Erik Anderson, both of whom have been recognized nationally for their contributions to the culinary scenes here in Nashville for The Patterson House, in Chicago for Aviary and in Minneapolis for Sea Change, are now pointing out their favorite spots around town for the publication.

“You expect Nashville to be an in-your-face country music town, with everyone wearing cowboy boots and blue jeans - and there is some of that - but it’s confined to about four blocks of downtown, and outside of that you’ll be surprised at the diversity of culture you can find here,” the magazine quotes them both as saying.

Among their list of hidden Music City treasures is K&S Market on Charlotte Pike, City House, Arnold’s Country Kitchen, The Ryman, Mercy Lounge, Robert’s Western World, Paradise Park, Crema, Mitchell Delicatessen, which Josh hesitantly describes as ‘hipster,’ Bar No. 308 and Allan Benton’s Smoked Prosciutto-Style Country Hams. Interesting mix if you ask me.
