I am honored to be working on this event with my friend, Matt Urmy. This will be one of those nights that could only happen in Nashville.
HOLLYWOOD, NASHVILLE UNITE FOR ALL-STAR COWBOY JACK CLEMENT TRIBUTE CONCERT
Cowboy Jack Clement, also known as The Pied Piper of Music City, has been at the center of the music industry for more than six decades. An award-winning producer, performing artist, songwriter, publisher, and executive, Cowboy Jack has worked with some of the biggest stars in country music and rock ‘n’ roll, including Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong, Roy Orbison, Chris Isaak, and U2.
Cowboy faced significant personal loss in 2011 when he lost his house in a fire, along with his famous studio, and tapes from sessions with Johnny Cash among others. He remains one of the biggest living legends in American music history, writing and producing hit songs like Ballad Of A Teenage Queen, Just Someone I Used To Know, and Guess Things Happen That Way.
Matt Urmy, founder of Artist Growth and the most recent artist Clement has produced, along with Dub Cornett, a long time protege of Cowboy’s, have pulled together an A-list tribute to the music legend, now 81 years old.
Honoring A Legend: A Tribute to Cowboy Jack Clement, presented by Artist Growth, will be held January 30 at Nashville’s War Memorial Auditorium and includes performances by:
Dan Auerbach
Bobby Bare
T-Bone Burnett
Billy Burnette
Shawn Camp
Marshall Chapman
Rodney Crowell
Jakob Dylan
Mary Gauthier
Emmylou Harris
Kris Kristofferson

Charley Pride

All proceeds from the event will benefit the The Music Health Alliance and launch the Cowboy Jack Clement Fund to help curb the cost of medical bills incurred by musicians not covered by insurance.

Additionally, VIP floor tables are available for purchase by contacting Heather Byrd - heatherebyrd@gmail.com.
